Saving Vs Spending

I am a big time spender. I do know how to save money if needed. But I would rather spend it then keep it. Anything that I want is electronic and cost a lot of money. I totally agree with this. It's a proven fact. Our generation now is all about wants not needs. Christmas is a good example. All of us teenagers are already picking out what were going to get for Christmas. No matter what the cost is. We tend to always want the expensive gifts. If you gave me the choice between getting a billion dollars in a year or getting one million now most likely im going for the million. It's just how we are, it's what we are use to. And what I mean by this is as teenagers our eyes get big at the site of something we want and like. That's just how it is in today's society. I wish we weren't like that all the time because most of the things we want we can most likely live without.

Am I An Extrovert Or Introvert? O.o

I consider myself an introvert. I would rather be by myself then with a whole bunch of different people. It's fifty fifty with weather or not one of the two have it easier. I enjoy just being around a few people rather then with a lot of people. We have so much drama in high school that if everyone was an extrovert there would be a lot more fights in school, kids would be getting into trouble ect. That's just my personal opinion you may feel different. And if everyone was a extrovert there would be no socialization between other kids. I talk to a lot of people I have a lot of friends so some of them are extroverts and some are introverts. It's a mixture of the two. Extroverts just because of the fact that they have more experience with people and socializing. Extroverts are a lot more better writers. Introverts would be better neighbors because they will not bother you. Extroverts are better teachers they would be more easy going around people and enjoy there work. It doesn't matter at all if you are one or the other.

Try To Be The Best You You Could Be

Instead of living life to be average why not try to just be a better person and do new things. Try not to do what everyone else does be your own person. Sometimes I do get lost in like another world and then I think about how im acting and what my actions are and try to come back to planet earth. As a teen I know there are times where I make mistakes and don't own up to it. When it all boils down we will always be reminded about our bad dissicions. Life is what you make it so make it all worth the while. We only have one life to live.

My Favorite Poem From Walt Whitman

The poem that I enjoyed was Beat! Beat! Drums!. Mainly because it is a joyful kind of poem and it's about music and just living. It also makes me laugh because in this poem he is basically talking about waking up the town and people in bed wont be able to sleep because of the drums playing in the street. I really enjoy his poems because he is free spirited and doesn't care about what people think of him. This poem in particular is a good example because of his title and how he expresses his feelings about the specific topic. There are parts in the poem that I do not understand but for the most part it is a enjoyable poem. This poem is my favorite from him.

Walt Whitman

Walt whitman was an american poet and a essayist and journalist. He was a part of the transition between transcendtalism and realism. He incorporated both in his work. This is because of his style of writing and his message behind each story. His work was very controversial in its time. Whitman worked as a journalist, a teacher, a government clerk, and in addition to the publishing of his poetry he was a volunteer nurse during the American Civil War. One of the poems that I liked was Crossing Brooklyn Ferry.
